Happy Holliday’s from our “hood” to yours. We want to thank all of our employees,distributors and customers for a great year.  We appreciate all of your hard work. We are looking forward to 2012!

The night before Christmas

T’was the night before Christmas and holidays were starting,

Machines were shut down and employees were parting.

The hoods were hung on the displays with care,

In hope that customers would soon be there.

New price sheets had been sent to distributors by mail,

To show them several new designs to sell.

Remodeling your kitchen should be on your list,

It always makes sense to start with the best.

When out in the plant there arose such a clatter

We sprang from our desks to see what was the matter.

Down the hall to the factory we ran as fast as we dared

What had set off the alarm ringing so loudly and clear.

When, what to our wondering eyes should appear,

But a full sized sleigh and eight steel reindeer.

With a driver that looked like our C.E.O, so lively and quick,

We knew at that moment it must be Mr. Skip.

Faster than ever he gathered up those treasures,

From SLH to K series, and pot rails for good measure.

He was ready to fill all those Ventahood orders

Soon after Christmas the sales would be soaring.

I heard him exclaim as he drove off into the night

Remember to keep your hoods shiny and bright!

Distributor of the month: Sancor

This month, we are highlighting Sancor distributors. Sancor is located in Memphis, Tennessee and has been with Vent-A-Hood since 1994. The company was most recently honored with the 2011 Sales Achievement Award at the national Vent-A-Hood Distributor Meeting, for increasing sales 17.39% over 2010. And much of that success comes from a fabulous relationship with appliance dealers throughout their region and a love for the Vent-A-Hood brand.  When customers come to Sancor to order a Vent-A-Hood product, they are often requesting liners for their hoods that they can customize on the exterior for a variety of high-end looks. Add to that the increase that Sancor has seen for custom hoods, and then a big picture begins to take shape. Sancor knows range hoods!  Sancor wanted to distribute Vent-A-Hood for several respectable and profound reasons: family ownership, product history, dealer acceptance, and profits for the dealer and the distributor. Sancor distributes in Arkansas, Mississippi, and Tennessee. A few of the things that Sancor likes the most about distributing Vent-A-Hood are the Vent-A-Hood people, the product innovation, the reliability, and the engineering excellence of our product.

On the third day of Christmas my true love gave to me a color sample of a Vent-A-Hood. On the fourth day of Christmas my true love gave to me a tour of the Vent-A-Hood factory. On the fifth day of Christmas my true love gave to me a copy of Vent-A-Hood’s history. On the sixth day of Christmas my true love gave to me an explanation of the Magic Lung. On the seventh day of Christmas my true love gave to me some product specifications. On the eighth day of Christmas my true love gave to me a list of the professional organizations in which Vent-A-Hood belongs. On the ninth day of Christmas my true love gave to me a Vent-A-Hood price sheet. On the tenth day of Christmas my true love gave to me a list of all the awards that Vent-A-Hood has won. On the eleventh day of Christmas my true love gave to me my order sheet for a Vent-A-Hood and on the twelfth day of Christmas my true love gave to me a shiny new installed Vent-A-Hood.
