It was double the fun at a recent Vent-A-Hood ceremony where employees and family members Gonzalo Serrano and Cirilo Serrano were inducted into the Vent-A-Hood Employee Hall of Fame and presented with their commemorative rings for 20 years of service to the company.
“These men have proven that the American Dream is alive,” said Miles Woodall III, CEO of Vent-A-Hood.
Both men have worked their way up in the organization. Today, Cirilo is a lead man in the custom hood department, and Gonzalo works a top job in the press shop at the plant. Their experiences have also influenced others in the Serrano family to work for Vent-A-Hood during summer jobs and before heading to college.
Joined by their wives, kids and grandkids, extended members of the Serrano family attended the event, where cake was served to the entire company and Cirilo’s and Gonzalo’s names were installed on the Hall of Fame plaque at headquarters.
The occasion was the latest powerful example of the loyalty that Vent-A-Hood has attracted to its organization with talented and skilled craftsmen over the years who continue to exemplify pride in U.S. manufacturing.
