Hall of Fame Ceremony

It was double the fun at a recent Vent-A-Hood ceremony where employees and family members Gonzalo Serrano and Cirilo Serrano were inducted into the Vent-A-Hood Employee Hall of Fame and presented with their commemorative rings for 20 years of service to the company.

“These men have proven that the American Dream is alive,” said Miles Woodall III, CEO of Vent-A-Hood.

Both men have worked their way up in the organization. Today, Cirilo is a lead man in the custom hood department, and Gonzalo works a top job in the press shop at the plant. Their experiences have also influenced others in the Serrano family to work for Vent-A-Hood during summer jobs and before heading to college.

Joined by their wives, kids and grandkids, extended members of the Serrano family attended the event, where cake was served to the entire company and Cirilo’s and Gonzalo’s names were installed on the Hall of Fame plaque at headquarters.

The occasion was the latest powerful example of the loyalty that Vent-A-Hood has attracted to its organization with talented and skilled craftsmen over the years who continue to exemplify pride in U.S. manufacturing.

Press Release: Artisan Stainless Steel And Slate Color Finishes for Range Hoods

Vent-A-Hood, the company that created the modern residential range hood, has introduced two new finishes for range hood products. The Made-In-The-USA manufacturer will now offer an artisan stainless steel finish and a slate color finish for canopies in multiple designs.

Slate is a trending color in kitchen interiors, and the slate color from Vent-A-Hood is being offered on multiple range hood designs. The color is perfectly-blended to match cooktops and ranges in the same hue from leading manufacturers, according to Mark Klein, the director of sales for Vent-A-Hood.

Additionally, a highly-anticipated artisan stainless steel finish is now available on high end and custom Designer Series range hoods from Vent-A-Hood. The pro-style finish has a pewter look and goes well with brushed nickel hardware that is popular throughout today’s kitchen designs. It also contrasts well with brushed stainless trim options that offer a customized look, Klein said.

Coming off a record year in 2014, Vent-A-Hood expects the new finishes to grow in popularity with dealers, designers and customers looking for the latest range hood styles as the company continues to expand its product lines.

Press Release: New Website Design

Vent-A-Hood, the company that created the modern residential range hood, has launched a redesigned website at www.ventahood.com that will automatically price any hood across a combination of 390,000 possible SKUs from the manufacturer.

“We have once again advanced the range hood design and shopping experience to meet the needs of a growing customer base across North America,” said Mark Klein, director of sales for Vent-A-Hood.

The new website includes online design and pricing information for everything in the Vent-A-Hood manufacturing catalog, complete with options for finishes and upgrades. Klein said it revolutionizes the tailored approach to designing and ordering a range hood, which first debuted with the Vent-A-Hood online Build-A-Hood program that was limited to the Designer Series models.

Excluding 100% handmade custom designs, consumers now can go online to an interactive showroom, design and price any range hood, and the order will be submitted through the appropriate distributer in the U.S. or Canada for production at Vent-A-Hood.
